For Middle East coffee and confectionery buyers Bleached white cardamom for Arabic coffee
Pale, bleached pods from the Indonesian highlands, finished to the color standard gahwa roasters and sweet makers in the Gulf ask for.

Made for the Gulf market
Middle Eastern coffee and confectionery buyers prefer white cardamom: pods dried and bleached to a pale ivory. It is a different product from the green cardamom used in South Asian cooking, with a cooler aroma that carries more camphor. In gahwa the pods are crushed or steeped whole with the coffee.
How we finish it
Pods are hand-picked at full maturity, dried, then bleached. We control the bleaching carefully so the pod stays intact and the seeds inside keep their aromatic oil. The bleaching level can be adjusted for buyers whose market has a specific color standard. Pods are sorted by size before packing.
Paperwork for halal markets
We hold a Halal Indonesia certificate (ID12110066461250526) along with ISO 22000 and HACCP, so the documents your importer needs for Gulf customs are in place before the container leaves Belawan.
