For grinders, extractors and blenders Broken cassia for grinding and oil extraction
If the bark is going into a mill or an extraction tank, you don’t need to pay for whole sticks. Our broken grades are the same Kerinci bark, sorted for processing.

Who buys broken grades
Spice grinders who sell ground cinnamon, extractors who make cinnamon oil (cinnamaldehyde) or oleoresin, and blenders who mix cassia into curry, baking or chai blends. None of them sell the stick itself, so its look doesn't matter to them. What they need is a steady grind and steady oil from one container to the next.
Why broken costs less
KABC and KBBC are cut and broken pieces sorted by size and bark thickness. Per kilo they cost less than AA sticks of the same bark quality, because you aren't paying for presentation. The bark comes from the same Kerinci farms and goes through the same intake checks as our sticks.
Moisture matters more here
Broken bark has more exposed surface than a whole quill, so it picks up moisture faster. We test every lot with a calibrated meter at intake and reject anything over 12% before it is bagged. If your process needs a tighter limit, put it in the RFQ and we quote against it.

Questions buyers ask
KABC is the cleaner, yellowish bark with 2 to 3% volatile oil, and most grinders prefer it. KBBC is reddish-yellow with a darker outer skin and 1.5 to 1.75% oil, and it costs less. Ask us for photos of the current lot of each before you choose.
Yes. Extractors buy broken grades because the oil is in the bark, not in the shape of the stick. Tell us your target and we confirm what the current lot can meet.
We ship whole broken bark. Tell us your spec and we can discuss what we can supply.
Every incoming lot is tested with a calibrated moisture meter and anything above 12% is rejected before packing.
Send the grade, volume and destination port and we reply with a price.
